As many of you know, the Medical-Legal process relies heavily on QME Panels issued from the Medical Unit. Unfortunately, there has been for quite some time a backlog in the processing of the requests for the QME Panels. In fact, our most recent information is that the Medical Unit is six months behind in processing QME Panels in cases where the injured worker is represented.
